"I founded a small woodworking business when I was in 9th grade. I needed a way to make money that would not interfere with school or skating. I started making hand-turned pens and pencil sets. I would sell them online, at craft fairs, and at flea markets. Over time, my business has grown to include candlestick holders, tables and small pieces of furniture.
