Everyone appreciates a scholarship for college.  But with so many out there and other high schools students competing for the same ones, it can be tough to find scholarships that are right for you.

To make your life a little easier, the Discus Awards has created a list of available college scholarships.  The Discus Awards' List of College Scholarships is constantly updated, provides eligibility information, lets you know the application deadline, and even how much scholarship money you could win.

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students.

Amount: Up to $10,000

$2,000 CaptainU Student-Athlete Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for all student-athletes graduating high school in 2015 or later who plan to attend a 4-year college.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school students, undergraduate students, and graduate students.

Amount: $500

$2,000 "No Essay" College Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for current students and those planning to enroll within 12 months.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $2,000

$500 "Define Yourself" Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores and juniors who plan on attending a 4 year college in fall 2013 and register on the site above.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $500

Imagine America Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school seniors and recent graduates who are planning to enroll in a career college. Minimum 2.5 GPA required, along with financial need and meaningful community service experience.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $1,000

Ronald McDonald House Charities Scholarships

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school seniors within the geographic boundaries of an RMHC chapter and a 2.7 GPA or better.

Deadline: January 20, 2015

Amount: $1,000

Grandparents Gone Wired Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for students younger than 26 years old that take a picture while teaching seniors how to use technology.

Deadline: January 20, 2015

Amount: $10,000

Flawless Poetry Slam Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for current or former high school students who are 25 years old or younger, and add an original poem to Power Poetry about what makes them "flawless".

Deadline: January 30, 2015

Amount: $1,000

Travel is Education Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for middle school and high school students between grades 6 and 12, who submit artwork, photos, or writing about travel.

Deadline: January 31, 2015

Amount: $1,000

Davidson Fellows Scholarships

Eligibility: Scholarships for students 18 years old or younger who are U.S. citizens and demonstrate a noteworthy achievement in the area of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, literature, music, philosophy, or "outside the box".

Deadline: February 11, 2015

Amount: Up to $50,000

Teens for Jeans Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for students 26 years old or younger who donate gently-used jeans to the homeless in their community.

Deadline: February 15, 2015

Amount: $10,000

Create-a-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest

Eligibility: Scholarship for high school and college students who create a greeting card (holiday, get well, birthday, etc.).

Deadline: February 18, 2015

Amount: $10,000

GotChosen Scholarship Give Away

Eligibility: Scholarship for students 18 years or older who have been accepted to a postsecondary school. Residents of New York are not eligible to apply.

Deadline: February 28, 2015

Amount: $20,000
