College Scholarships: 2014-2015 Academic Year

Everyone appreciates a scholarship for college.  But with so many out there and other high schools students competing for the same ones, it can be tough to find scholarships that are right for you.

To make your life a little easier, the Discus Awards has created a list of available college scholarships.  The Discus Awards' List of College Scholarships is constantly updated, provides eligibility information, lets you know the application deadline, and even how much scholarship money you could win.

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: Up to $10,000

$2,000 CaptainU Student-Athlete Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for all student-athletes graduating high school in 2015 or later who plan to attend a 4-year college.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $2,000

 

Academic Year 2014-2015 Scholarships:

Superpower Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for students 13 years or older, and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary school no later than fall 2021.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $2,500

Easy College Money Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for high school students or college students, or students who plan to enroll in college in the next 12 months.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $1,000

Resist the IST Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for students 14 years or older, and enrolled in an accredited post-secondary school no later than fall 2019. Students must write an essay no longer than 200 words about how they defied a stereotype someone had of them, or defied a stereotype that they had of others.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $10,000

FastWeb Refer A Friend Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school students, undergraduate students, and graduate students.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $500

$2,000 "No Essay" College Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for current students and those planning to enroll within 12 months.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $2,000

$500 "Define Yourself" Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores and juniors who plan on attending a 4 year college in fall 2013 and register on the site above.

Deadline: March 31, 2015

Amount: $500
