Everyone appreciates a scholarship for college.  But with so many out there and other high schools students competing for the same ones, it can be tough to find scholarships that are right for you.

To make your life a little easier, the Discus Awards has created a list of available college scholarships.  The Discus Awards' List of College Scholarships is constantly updated, provides eligibility information, lets you know the application deadline, and even how much scholarship money you could win.

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors, undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education students.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: Up to $10,000

$2,000 CaptainU Student-Athlete Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for all student-athletes graduating high school in 2015 or later who plan to attend a 4-year college.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $2,000

 

Academic Year 2014-2015 Scholarships:

Musical Mix-Up Scholarship for Autism Awareness

Eligibility: Scholarship for high school students who play musical chairs in their school cafeteria at launch and submit a photo of the activity to DoSomething.org. No minimum GPA required.

Deadline: December 9, 2014

Amount: $10,000

Burger King Scholars Program

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school seniors who have a minimum 2.5 GPA and plan to enroll in a two - or four - year college, university, or vocational school.

Deadline: December 15, 2014

Amount: Up to $50,000

Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school seniors who are student athletes with a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Deadline: December 15, 2014

Amount: 20 $1,000 Scholarships

FastWeb Refer A Friend Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school students, undergraduate students, and graduate students.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $500

$2,000 "No Essay" College Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for current students and those planning to enroll within 12 months.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $2,000

$500 "Define Yourself" Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarship for high school seniors, college freshmen, sophomores and juniors who plan on attending a 4 year college in fall 2013 and register on the site above.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $500

Imagine America Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility: Scholarships for high school seniors and recent graduates who are planning to enroll in a career college. Minimum 2.5 GPA required, along with financial need and meaningful community service experience.

Deadline: December 31, 2014

Amount: $1,000
