"I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease at age eight. It changed my life and forced me to grow up really fast. I've always been the most mature and the most responsible of my friends. I have made many new friends, and learned a lot through having this disease. I no longer look at it as a burden, but view it as more of a blessing. I think having Crohn's has helped shape me into the person I am today."
