ATTRIBUTES
Athletics
I am a strong, vigorous, active, female athlete who enjoys all sports. I have played soccer for 13 years. I play for my High School team and have played competitive soccer for 9 years. I even have played soccer in other countries. I also run Varsity Cross Country and Track. I have participated in community Fun Runs, placing in the races. I have been on running teams for 6 years. As a freshman, I was awarded the best mid-distance runner. I also find time for my dance classes: ballet (point/lyrical), jazz & tap. As a member of the Advance Dance class, I have been able to be a part of our studio's Dance Outreach for our community. I danced this past Christmas for our Church program in both a group dance and duet, which I helped choreograph. I am constantly in motion and love to stay active.
Work
I work out of my home, teaching students piano. This includes lessons, workshops and recitals. I also babysit and help with daycare at my church and schools. I volunteer at schools, for P.T.O. events, help in classrooms, and work at special activities. At church, I work at outreach events (backpack give away, Easter event, Hallelujah Night, Thanksgiving meal give away, street ministry, & more), help with fundraisers, am a counselor/coach at V.B.S., camp counselor and assist in Children’s Church/Nursery. I, also, have participated in a few Mission Trips (traveling to Ukraine & Mexico). I am presently training to work with Foster Care children at Royal Family Kid’s Camp this summer. I look forward to helping, as my family does Foster Care. If there is a need, I am willing to work.
Other Achievements
I am a student in my High School’s Law & Justice Academy. I participate in Model UN and Mock Trial. With the Deer Valley Law & Justice Academy, I was able to be a part of the editorial staff for a special academy project, creating an entire magazine, where I was asked to present. I was chosen to be a representative of Mock Youth Court. At school, I was a member of the Marching Band and continue to be a part of the Orchestra. My Orchestra just participated in CMEA, receiving Unanimous Superior. I, also, play the piano and annually test for Certificate of Merit. I am presently preparing for my senior piano recital. I have been involved with drama in my church and community. I have also received a math award in High School. I participate in CSF and continue to maintain Honor Roll.
