ATTRIBUTES
Academics
All of my life I have excelled in the area of academics. I have been on the A honor roll since 6th grade and i continue to be on it in my Junior year of high school. Currently I am taking 2 AP classes, AP calculus AB, and AP U.S. History. Last year i took AP world history and received a 4 on the test. I am also taking CIS communications. I am currently taking part in PSEO, which is where I can take college classes at a college while in high school. At Century College I have taken Chemistry and am currently taking General Psychology. I will continue to push myself academically in the future too. Next year I am taking PSEO again along with 3 AP classes and 2 CIS classes.
Community Service
For the last 4 summers I have had the great opportunity to Caddie to younger girls at Girl Scout Camp. Caddies are the older girls who help the younger girls out and lead them in different activities. Also with Girl Scouts I completed an 80 hour project for which i received the Girl Scout Gold Award for. The Gold Award is the highest achievement you can get in Girl Scouts. At my school I am part of the National Honor Society, which is a group that goes around and volunteer at different events. Some of the things I have done with NHS is help at a carnival, help at a basketball tournament, make cards for children in the local hospitals, and more. All of this was just a few of the many examples of the community service that i preform.
Faith
I am very strong in my faith. Since i was in kinder-garden i have attended church regularly, but it was not until i was in 7th grade that i really realized my faith. In 7th was when I joined the puppet ministry at my church called the Dream Faith Puppet ministry. Ever since then i have fallen in love with God. For the last 3 years i have led the group in going to Marketfest in White Bear Lake, where the group has gotten the great opportunity to spread God's love. In 9th Grade i was confirmed but unlike the rest of my confirmation class, i still attend church regularly and I definitely enjoy doing so. All of my friends at church are like my family, I love them all and i have an absolute blast praising God with them.
