Academics
I have been an Honor student for the past 7 years. I have won 5 trophies for my academics achievements: 2 trophies in Social Studies, 2 in Language Arts, and 1 in the Science Honor class. I got nominated to join the National Junior Honor Society in Middle School. I’m a 2 time winner of the outstanding efforts award for Miami-Dade. I have Gotten 4 awards in biology class for highest academic grade in my period for the past 4 grading periods. I also got an award for geometry for excellent in the 10th grade and 7 medals: 1 for principle honor roll in High School, 1 for music, 2 for social studies in Civil and American history, 2 for Language Arts, and 1 for Science Honors in Middle School. I'm currently taking 3 Honors classes and have an G.P.A of 3.81.
Community Service
I’m am an active Usher at Santa Catharina de Siena church, I collect money and assist the church even on days that I’m not suppose to volunteer. I was in a club in Middle School called Best Buddies which assisted children and teens with autism to show them that there a good people that care about them. Every morning I help my teacher, Ms.Cabrera to clean up her classroom and filed class work paper and homework. I helped out in the school office when I was in 10th grade. I filed paper and helped parents and students.
Technology
I’m currently designing an Eco-trailer for a project in my Civil engineer class. After we're finished with the Eco-trailer, we're going to send it to completion to teach people how to be more environmentally friendly, If they ever want to make an Eco-trailer or modify their houses. I’m in Auto-Cad club which is a club that designs houses in 3D with the use of a 3D design program called Auto-Cad. I have designed a prototype of a Solar car on Rhino 3D which was eventually made into a real Solar car. I have won with The State Fair for my design in Florida and getting a first award in my Civil engineer class. I'm currently competing with 2 of my designs in the Miami-Dade County Fair.
