ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have always been an honor roll student and was on principle's list as a sophomore. I took 2 AP classes as a junior, AP European History and AP Environmental Science, and I am currently taking 3 AP classes as a senior, AP US History, AP Calculus, and AP English. I am a Hanover Scholar, for academic success, and an AP Scholar, for taking 3 or more AP tests successfully. I have a weighted GPA of a 4.3 out 5.0 and I am in the top 30 at my school. During my freshman and sophomore year I enrolled myself into extra history classes. I have always taken advanced classes in my subject when available.
Community Service
I have been apart of the Patrick Henry YMCA Leaders' Club all throughout high school where I have completed 100 hours of community service each year, including within the YMCA and in the community. I volunteer with the US Equine Rescue League once a week during my off season from lacrosse since I was a junior. I have been apart of Girl Scouts all throughout high school, in which I have volunteered for churches and at other scouting events. I went to a volunteer camp as a sophomore. MFUGE, where I helped to teach children about the Christian religion and provide a safe place to play by cleaning up inner city parks and schools.
Athletics
I was apart of the premiere travel soccer program at Strikers and the elite travel soccer program at FC Richmond. I was on my school's JV soccer team up until the 10th grade. I tried out for my varsity girls' lacrosse team in the spring of my junior year, after switching from soccer to lacrosse in the fall. I participated in my school's varsity lacrosse team my junior and senior year. I was apart of the Hanover winter leagues both years and a part of the Hanover fall league my senior year.
