Academics
Ever since I was a young girl I always welcomed any academic challenges. In elementary school I was in the top 10 of my class and recieved many Principal's honor awards.I continued to succeed all throughout middle school, earning a reputation of a straight A student all three years.I recieved many recognitions from the county. As i went into high school i kicked it up a notch. My freshman year i enrolled in an AP Human Geography class and all honors, recieving straight A's for the year, and many Honor Roll certificates.I competed at a language competition, against 200 other students from the county, and placed third.I am currently enrolled as both a high school junior and a college freshman, taking dual enrollment classes and I will grraduate with an AA degree and a high school diploma.
Arts
The arts have always been a passion of mine.As a young girl I was always fascinated with music. In the sixth grade I enrolled in chorus as an elective, but soon after I realized that I loved it and that I was good. All throughout middle school i studied music theory, and i kept improving on my skills; my chorus teacher put me in the advanced choir and trained me to be one of the top Altos in the school. As I entered high school, I improved even more. With a new chorus teacher, I had to prove myself. Starting in the beginners choir, my teacher realized how much more advanced i was than the others, and he put me in the advanced choir. I along with other advanced singers went to state level competitions and rated superior, the highest ranking. I was also the top Alto in the school.
Athletics
Figure Skating and Dance have been major roles in my life. Starting at the age of 10 i began to take figure skating classes. Coaches would tell me that i was a little too old to start, but I didnt let that bring me down. I continued to practice constantly, and I advanced more quickly than any of the coaches ever expected. I was one of my coaches best students and I worked very hard during trainings. I tested up to intermediate level, which i the 6th testing level. I also competed in the Forida Sunshine State games many years, and every competition I always placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd; i alwasy ended up recieving a medal. Many coaches congratulated me often because i was also one of the most technically sound skaters at the entire rink, among other girls at higher levels than I.
