Community Service
I work with the Jersey City Police department every year as a volunteer for various causes.
In August, I help prepare and distribute fifteen thousand school bags for kids.
Halloween gives me the opportunity to spotlight my acting abilities as a cast member in a haunted house at our local mall. We do this to benefit inner-city kids in our community.
On Thanksgiving day, I along with a police officer, deliver meals to the elderly.
For the Christmas holidays, I hold a toy drive with my family. We solicit for, collect and wrap toys that are distributed to needy kids in local schools.
The Prom Project is where we collect formal wear for disadvantaged young ladies for that special prom night. This year, I posted on Facebook and received thirty five more gowns than last year.
Academics
I currently hold a 3.87 GPA, and take college courses in English 101 and Introduction to Sociology in addition to my regular high school classes.
My strengths lie in biology, mathematics and medical science.

Other Achievements
I just finished spearheading a county-wide sock drive named Soxcess! (www.facebook.com/soxcess). We placed donation barrels in seven government buildings, one hospital, two schools and one Moose lodge.
We collected nine hundred pairs of warm socks, many winter hats and gloves that were distributed to over five hundred homeless and needy families at the Hudson County Project Connect Homeless Count.
I have been honored by the Carson's Scholar Fund in 2011 with a one thousand dollar scholarship.
Just recently I was honored by receiving from the White House The Presidents Volunteer Service Award.
I am also an honoree of a Prudential Spirit Community Award.
In 2009, Mayor Healy presented me with a Certificate of Appreciation for community service.
