Arts
I am currently apart of my high school's orchestra. I have been playing viola for almost three years. Playing viola is a passion, music is amazing. I've been improving quickly on viola and am now at level 3-4, and I'm still a beginner! Music is not the only arts I participate in. Drawing and sketching are another passion. Everyday I sketch and play viola. There isn't a day that I don't make art with my viola or on paper! Art is very important to me, it let's me express my thoughts and feelings in ways that talking and speaking never would allow me to. Without the arts, life would be dull. Art is a part of me, it's who i am. I'm happy to have art be in my life and a part of me.
Work
I work in the nursery at St. Peter's Church. I am the nursery attendant, taking care of the babies and toddlers, and have been working there for nearly two years I enjoy my work because I get to spend time with amazing and loving children. I feel like a big sister with them! I love my work, it's a lot of fun! Not many teenagers would like to wake up early to take care of kids on a Sunday, but I don't mind waking up early on a weekend because i get to see everybody's smiling faces and be in a happy, warm place. I grew a bond with the kids, and seeing their young happy faces every Sunday makes me smile. I love these children very much. I enjoy what I do so much that it doesn't even feel like work, just having fun.
Other Achievements
I am a writer. I have been writing stories and poems since a young age. Writing is a passion, a big love of mine. My room is filled with notebooks and binders filled with my works. I also have an account on a writing website where I can post my writing. I always need to carry a notebook and pen with me because there is always a new thought in my head that I have to write down and either turn into a poem or story. For me, writing is easy and fun, never a bore. If you give me a name or scene or anything like that, I can write a short or long story about it. My mind is always filled with random thoughts and ideas. I love writing, it's who I am. I'll always write, and plan to keep writing for the rest of my life. I even joined Speech and Debate to keep writing.
