ATTRIBUTES
Academics
Academics is an area I have excelled in since the seventh grade. I have been a member of High Honor Role which requires above a 90 gpa each quarter since the seventh grade. I also was a member of the Junior National Honor Society as a freshman. I am now a member of the National Honor Society and have been since my junior year. I have maintained above a 93 gpa and am currently enrolled in AP Calculus. I was in the accelerated math and science programs starting in seventh grade. I recieved an 1190 on my SAT and a cumulative score of a 24 on my ACTS.
Athletics
Throughout my highschool career I have been a member of the Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team. I have been on the team for the past 3 years. As a freshman I was a member of the Junior Varisty Lacrosse Team. My junior year I was voted by my coaches and teammates Most Improved Player. My Junior year I also recieved 2nd Team All-League. I also have been a New York State Scholar Athlete since my freshman year. I am now going to college to play Division one lacrosse. I also was a member of the Varsity Indoor Track and Field Team as a freshman and sophomore.
Community Service
Throughout my highschool career I have participated in many acts of community service. I volunteer as a member of a local organization called Maureens Hope. This organization raises money for cancer patients and its goal is to provide comfot to those in treatment and hope for their future. I have been a member of this since eight grade. I also have been a volunteer for my communities local scholarship foundation. Each year my school calls members of the community to raise money for scholarships for seniors. I have been a part of this since tenth grade. I also have been a participate in the Relay For Life which is a walk/run that raises money for cancer research. I have been participating in this since eighth grade as well.
