ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I currently am earning a 3.83 GPA, and I am ranked 13 in my class of around 250 students. I have always been awarded either honor or Merritt role on each of my report cards throughout my entire educational career, I have lettered in Academics as well. I scored a 21 on my last ACT test and plan to take the test again.Learning is a highlight in my life, especially math and I plan to continue on per suing my education to become a teacher so I can spread my knowledge to others. Knowledge is the key to making choices and forming your own thoughts. This is why I treasure education so much in my life.
Athletics
I started playing sports when I was in Kindergarten. I played soccer for four years and started playing volleyball, softball and basket ball in third grade. I played basketball for six and soft ball for seven. I then decided to focus my attention on volleyball. This past school year I received many awards for volleyball. Second Team Portage Trail Conference, Scholar Athlete Award, a second Varsity letter, player of the week(twice), Most digs, most disciplined player, and Honorable Mention All Ohio second Team. I love volleyball and play it all year long. I am also trying out for the track team this year and plan to stay active with sports throughout my entire life.
Community Service
I have been involved with community service my entire life. At my church I am an Alter Server, help at the pancake breakfasts, Easter egg hunts, church picnics, Halloween parties, Vacation Bible Schools, Spring Time of Hope, and bake sales, I am a PSR aid, and a member of the Prince of Peace Youth Group. At school I am a member of Key Club and have/plan on participating in the following activities: Jeans For Teens, Rose Day Di livery, Chili Cook-Off, Akron Children's Hospital Tree Day Festival, Salvation army Toy Distribution, Salvation army Thanks Giving Dinner, and Big Brother Big Sis. I love helping others and seeing the joy that little favors can bring to people.
