Community Service

I volunteer at the Harper Hospital. Some of my responsibilities are to help with the patients rather that is taking them for walks around the hospital, spending time reading to them or listening to them tell me stories, giving them magazines or playing games with them. I also assist the nurses by answering patient lights and getting supplies for them.

I also volunteer with a horse trainer. Some of my responsibilities are helping to take of the horses needs such as grooming, training, tacking up, exercising, and overall well being. I helped throughout the whole breaking process such as lunging,

teaching them to saddle, leg cues, and giving to the bit.

I am also a teachers aid.

Other Achievements

I am the Kayette president. Some of my responsibilites are organizing the meetings, being the spokes person for the group, help manage service projects, and assist the sponser with anything she needs help with. I was also the Kayette secretary my junior year.

I am a member of SADD.

I am the vice president of the Mountain Hilltoppers 4H club in Harper County. Some of my responsibilties there are to help facilitate meeting, help with sponsored events, and help with member recruitment.

I am a member of STUCO.

I am a member of the Milton/Norwich Baptist youth group.

I am on the Yearbook staff.

I am the 2009 Norwich football homecoming queen

I am the runner up Freedom Rodeo Queen in 2007

Work

I have worked at the Norwich Farmers Cooperative from June 2007 to the present. Some of my job responsibilites are managing the front office, answering the phones, running scales, doing papter work, working with money transactions and deposits, working the computer, customer service and helping on the docks.
