ATTRIBUTES
Arts
I'm an avid writer and have been doing so since fourth grade, anything from prose to poetry, I wrote it. A few years ago i recently made a tough decision in leaving to sport I love, football, to enhance my skills as a writer. People would constantly, and still do, question my decision. They would always say you can't make it anywhere writing. Well, these notions didn't matter to me. So long I'm doing the thing I love most in life, I will be contempt, money will take care of itself. I'm currently working on a novel, which I plan to finish and publish in the next few years. I'm also a member of my school's newspapers staff and had an article sub
Work
My parents are the hardest working people I know, and I'm not just saying that. From where they came from to get where they are at right now is truly unbelievable. My parents started of as a catering business 15 years ago, and it eventually progressed into a popular and wide known thing. They open Destiny Ballroom, a banquet hall they tended to wedding receptions, business meetings, birthdays, etc. I learned the ways of the business, from doing dishes, to packing luncheons, to setting the room for the events. They eventually closed their first location in Lawrenceville and took over Inviting Events in Snellville, GA. Through this work experience, I've gained hard work ethic as well as people interaction skills.
Other Achievements
I'm a big time debater, and I've participated in several forum discussions covering a broad range of topics. I wouldn't call some of my "wins" as a major achievements except for furthering myself as an individual. I believe that we have to look past the may distractions in our face to see what is really true or not. We prolong our own ignorance by not wondering and searching. Also, I believe that a true leader isn't necessarily one whom is always vocal. "The obstacle is the path" is a ZEN saying, meaning that only true reward can come from taking the road less traveled. Its easy to take a path that's already paved. True leaders pave their own path and I will use this philosophy throughout my life.
