ATTRIBUTES
Arts
I have taken art for the past five years of my life, and I still feel like I have so much to learn and create. I love every aspect of my art and the processes of creating them. I work in mainly 2D mediums, and have a range of quality peices available for review. I am currently under the instruction of Todd Ford for AP Studio, and am creating a cohesive and flowing portfolio and concentration. The absolute best possible course ahead for me would be to go into an art based college and study there in art history and be opened up to a variety of influences and studies.
Other Achievements
I am the Art Club president at Billy Ryan High School. Denton is a college based town, and has a plethora of creative juices floating about in the mere air that we breathe. As president of Art Club, I have given the students at my school the opportunity to learn the ability to harness their own talents and exceed at what they do, as well as bring together a group of generally shy and soft-spoken individuals. Within my year as president, I have managed to do so, as well as set up a few great ideas, projects, and simple guidelines for the next president.
Work
I am a CSR at Domino's Pizza, and I feel that I have more than exceeded at my job. Not only is it hard enough to be the president of Art Club and an Advanced Placement art student, I am a part-time worker. I have worked there just a few months shy of a year, and have been as helpful as possible when problems arise or when a coworker is sick an they need someone to step in. Four or so months after I began working, another member quit, and I offered to step up and take their hours while we searched for a replacement. I love working with my managers and everyone else in the store. From the balance needed between my classes and responibilities, I have learned that I am strong willed and am able to put forth my best work even under pressure.
