ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I am currently ranked first in my class out of 205 students. I have a 4.2 GPA and passed all 4 AP tests that I took last year. This year I am enrolled in 4 more AP classes. I have a 32 on the ACT, but plan on taking it again. I am secretary of my school's National Honor Society and an active member of the Beta club, as well as Future Business Leaders of America. Last year I placed first at the state convention in Entrepreneurship. I also have recieved numerous awards, including the Sweannee Writing Award.
Athletics
I've been on my high school's volleyball team for 7 years and a starter for 4. I've led my team in kills the past two years, with a career high 19 kills in one match. I made the All-District team in 2010 and 2011. This year I was a "Sporting Time's Spotlight Athlete." I was named the Daily News Athlete of the Week (as seen here http://bgdailynews.com/articles/2011/09/10/submitted/female.txt). I was also named the Warren County i-high Athlete of the Week (as seen here http://www.ihigh.com/warrencountyschools/video_900378.html). I have also played club volleyball with BRAVO for 4 years, 2 on a region team and 2 on a travel team. This year I am playing for Chaos Volleyball. On November 2 I signed to play volleyball at Freed Hardeman University, currently ranked 25th in the NAIA.
Faith
I have attended Mt. Vernon Church of Christ my entire life. I have been involved in numerous activities there, including Youth Rallies, VBS, and teaching the toddler age Bible class. I've also been going to Western Kentucky Youth Camp, a church camp, for the past 8 years, serving as a counselor for the past 4. I am attending a christian university as well.
