Academics
For the longest time, I was considered a below average to average student. It was during my 7th grade math class that my teacher decided to bump me up unexpectedly. I entered the realms of honors classes with difficulty adjusting, excelled in the end, and continued taking honors when I entered high school. Honors wasn't enough at that point. I joined AP classes my sophomore year, earning A's and B's in them. Out of four AP exams, one was not a a 3 or higher. By graduation, I'll have completed eight AP classes. My GPA is pretty high too, averaging around a 4.0. I've received awards for my AP scores, GPA, and improvement.
Arts
I began drawing when I was very young. As I grew, my artistic ability did, and so did my range in style. I am always recognized as the "drawer" amongst my classmates. My art has also earned some fame online, via community web sites such as deviantART. Throughout my life, I've won awards for my drawings, beginning with a Sesame Streets kite and extending to competitive art scholarships and school certificates. My AP Studio Art portfolio also received a credible 3. My art doesn't stop at just drawing, though- I also do web design and whatnot as a hobby.
Work
God knows how long my parents have been working in their own family restaurants. I began helping them early in middle school, for maybe 5 days a week, or just the weekends. I started out as a below minimum wage kid packaging whatever orders were thrown at me. After a while, I was self promoted to the cashier, where I handled the pressure of counting money in front of a superior and interpreting fuzzy orders through the phone- plus, I had to write legibly for once. Recently, my parents broke off from the rest of the family to start their own restaurant, dragging me along. I now package, cashier, and wait customers with oodles of experience under my belt.
