Academics
As a high school senior at Boyertown Area Senior High School I currently hold a 3.979 GPA, and still maintain a rigorous class load, filled with multiple AP and Honors classes. I love learning new and interesting things especially in the area of math and science. The challenges of AP Calculus BC, and AP physics really keep me focused and intrigued. I really enjoy learning new math and physics concepts that tie in well with each other and allow me to excel. I have achieved many awards for my academic excellence including high honors throughout high school, and the presidential award of academic excellence, and would love to keep excelling and learning throughout my college career.
Athletics
As a child my parents were fantastic about letting me try every sport i wanted to. I have played almost every sport I could think of including soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf, football, hockey, and more. I have grown very fond of all of these sports but have really found that I love and excel at golf, baseball, and tennis, which are the three sports I currently play. I love the excitement of the baseball and the excitement of winning, which we had plenty of on our 12u Bally Bearcat team. We played in both the triple crown and ECTB national championship games, and were ranked #1 in the nation for three weeks straight. I plan on continuing playing golf and baseball in college, but have yet to decide if I want to play on the collegiate or club level.
Technology
As a former member of the Audio/Visual club, Science Olympiad, and the Technology Student Association, I can say with ease that this is by far my favorite branch of school. I love working hands on and solving problems in the technology field. Throughout my high school career I have taken many technology and engineering based courses. I have gone to many science olympiad, and TSA competitions and have done well at most. My favorite competition was the 2011 TSA State competition at Seven Springs Resort. Although I did not do fantastic at the competition I loved the challenges, and had a lot of fun there. This is an area that I plan to pursue in college and have decided on mechanical engineering as my major, which relies heavily on the technological world.
