Poetry is one of the many beautiful forms of art man has worked with. I am a poet. Currently, I will have one of my poems published in a second anthology for a poetry contest I entered. It is a great way for me to express myself, as well as my beliefs, fears, and also my dreams. Poetry is my stong suit in my life, it is one thing that I greatly excel at. I am hoping to attend college and earn a minor in Creative Writing if it is available. As well as poetry, I have written one fiction story that was a hit with my peers. So I plan on writing more fiction stories. One day when I finally graduate from college I hope to be a poet. With my poetry I hope to inspire many minds and help make people think about changing the world for the good.

Community Service
Community Service

For three years now I have been a leader of my church's missdle school youth group, Spy Edge. Every thursday we meet for an hour to teach the kids about their faith and about how it can play into their lives. As a high school student I have opted to participate in my church's high school youth group which meets every sunday after the Lifeteen mass at night. I have done this for four years, as of this year. For Lifeteen we participate in many volunteer activities. I have participated in the leaf rake which helps out those who are not conditioned to take care of their homes. Last year I started particitpating in the 30 hour famine. This is where we raise money to go to third world countries and do not eat for 30 hours for our cause.

Athletics
Athletics

My freshman year I started off the athletic season with jv volleyball in the fall. In the winter season I played basketball and I was on jv. Then the spring season I tried out for track. I was placed from a runner to a thrower, but I made Varsity. Then sophomore year. I tried out for volleyball, and this time I earned my spot with the Varsity squad. Then spring soon came and it was Varsity track & Field and this time I made it to state in discus. Junior year I was on varsity volleyball again and varsity track & field. This time I made it to state in shot put. Finally my senior year. this was my final varsity year in volleyball and this year we made it to state and placed sixth. Now its time for track & field one last time. Hopefully state.
