I have a 4.3 GPA and am in the running to be valedictorian of my gaduating class. I am the president of my school's National Honor Society (NHS), a member of Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA), and member of our Acedemic Team. In HOSA, I have competed in competitions in which I have placed first in the region two times and fifth in the state once. As president of our NHS, I am growing as a strong leader and am volunteering at multiple facilities to help the community as much as possible. Since I have been on the A-Team, I have competed in multiple competitions. Since the ninth grade, I have taken a total of six Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
Arts
I have played the viola since the fifth grade and am very passionate of this art. I have placed in all-county five years in a row. I placed first chair two times, second chair once, third chair once, and fifth chair my first year I tried out - 7th grade. I have played in three solo and ensemble performances - two solos and one duet. I was given a superior rating for all three performances. I currently occupy first chair in my school's orchestra.

At Girls State, I held the position of a House Representative and wrote a bill of my own that was discussed during dabate in the House. I am also taking an AP Government course my upcoming senior year.
