Arts

I have been involved in all four year of Choir and Color guard (part of the band). each year i have moved up in each category. i have been able to take part of the musicals (senior year) Phantom of the Opera as a singer dancer, (Junior year) Cats as a singer dancer, and (sophomore year) Le Miserable as a chorus singer. as for color guard i was a part of for two years the selected straight to captain my junior and senior year. I've always worked hard to improve, do my best, and help others.

i love to sing and dance. i have taught and organized a dance class at my church for a year or two. now i lead the Sunday and Wednesday worship at my church.

Community Service

Since my sophomore year i have taken a huge part to help fund-raise 21,000 dollars. i was chosen to be in the high school sorority Delta Beta Sigma and we focused on helping a charity each year. sophomore year we raise for Alzheimer, junior year was Susan G Colman breast cancer awareness, and this past senior year we help raise money for prevent child abuse America. on the side of that i have helped habitat for humanity, Ronald McDonald house, penny's for patience, and many others. also my sister and i started a Teddy bear hugs where for each dollar given we buy a teddy bear and deliver them to the kids in Vanderbilt hospital for Christmas.

Faith

I have been lucky to have been raised in a Christian home and always been very active in my church. i have been on the State Youth Board for my church state wide for 4 years and planned many events where teens can come together and worship God. i started to lead the youth worship band on wednesday nights by planning the songs and singing. the past year i have been blessed to be able to lead he main worship on sunday mornings as well as the youth and kids. i have always felt the hand of God through music and though i never learned to play piano songs always came to me so i taught myself in the past 3 years to play by ear. i have written many song that praise God and have been blessed to share them with m church as well. in the next month i have even plan on leading the worship for VBS.
