I have received many honors such as the Merit Award, Arista Award, Certificate of Achievement, Student of the Month, and Junior Achievement.
Community Service
I am an active 4-H member and am a part of Community Improvement Through Youth (CITY) Project which is a program that identifies problems existing in society and comes up with ideas to solve them. I have been trained in youth leadership, life skills and peer education and have participated in public speaking events as a youth leader representing the CITY project. And also in a city-wide campaign to raise funds and awareness of Juvenile Diabetes, AIDS, and A Million Trees. I am a part of The Environmental Club which builds awareness on important issues, organizes battery drives, fund raisers for endangered species organizations. Green
As a member of The Environmental Club in my school, it is my responsibility to encourage people to use products that are harmless to the environment. I try to make people understand that our unhealthy use of products and technology are the reason for global warming and the destruction of the environment. I have made Eco friendly bracelets to raise money for my Environmental Club. I have taken part in activities that benefits the environment such as planting trees, sewing reusable bags to reduce the use of plastic bags, and constantly recycle. I take steps everyday, towards correcting my unsafe ways that harm the environment, I use reusable bags made of cloth, and use water bottles instead of buying water. I go on educational trips that opportunity to help the environment and the society.
