ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have been on the high honor roll in both 10th and 11th grade. I have a 3.9 GPA. I always challenge myself with honor classes and next year(my senior year) I am taking college classes at Penn State New Kensington. I have never received a C, D, or F on a report card and I intend to keep it that way. I have been on high honor roll for three years. I have always put my school work first because I know that is what will matter when it comes down to it. I do weekly preparation for my SATs, so I know I will receive a great score on my final tests. My first time I scored a 1640 and I intend to raise in considerably. School work means a lot to me and if I'm not challenging myself, I'm really not doing anything worth while.
Community Service
Since my first year at high school, I joined the Key Club. We were all about community service and was participating in atleast 10 hours of service a week. We did so many different things such as: food drives, clothing drives, helping the elderly with snow, making care packages for terminally ill children and volunteering at 5k marathons. The club lost its sponsor, but I continued to do volunteer work through my churches GO! group. We go down to Pittsburgh to feed the homeless, go to Bingo at the elderly homes, and many other things. I also volunteer yearly for three different soccer camps and also one church camp. I love volunteering more than anything and any time the oppurtunity is presented, I have always, and will always jump on it!
Athletics
Since I was about 6 I have been playing soccer. I played on my local town's team and also played on a traveling team. We traveled to many different states and I learned how much fun I had playing as a goal keeper for soccer. Of course, I continued to play into high school and this season(2010), as a junior I recieved the honors of "All-Section" player and "All WPIAL" player. I was also selected to attend the Student Athlete Leadership Academy as a junior, which is a big honor at my school. Now, I have been recently elected as a captain for my upcoming senior season. I work for "Quick Skills' as a soccer coach and private goalie instructor. Soccer is a huge part of my life and it has kept me busy and entertained throughout my high school career.
