Academics

I currently have a 4.0 GPA and I am ranked 35th out of 430 in the class. I work hard and organize my time to get homework and projects done. During my sophomore, junior and senior year I have been on the National Honors Society. I currently on the distinguished honor roll and have held on to this honor during my senior year. During my other high schools years I have either been on the distinguished or merit honor roll.

Athletics
Athletics

I played volleyball all four years of high school as Libero. In my Jr. and Sr. year I played on the varsity team. During my Freshman year I also played basketball on the JV team and also split time playing a travel volleyball club. During off-season volleyball I played on a volleyball travel team. Two of those years our team made it to the Junior Olympic Volleyball Nationals in Dallas and in Miami. School sports taught me the benefit of team work, working through everything together and following instructions.

Community Service
Community Service

I do a lot of community service through my youth group at church. Throughout the year I volunteer in the nursery and community dinners. In the summer I attend work camps throughout the United States. I have been to Pennsylvania,, Tennessee, Leadership Quest in Minnesota and New Orleans to help with the Katrina Mission. The mission trips were an eye opening experience for me. The diversity and conditions other people live or have lived in made me realize not to take things or people for granted.

During my junior year I also volunteered as a Candy Stripper at our local hospital.
