Academics
As far as academics go I took American Studies which is a English AP and U.S. History AP class which are considered college courses. Also I strive in taking higher level courses to expand my learning. I' m also in chemistry K. I'm also taking classes to help me with my career path that I plan on taking in the future. I really want to be an attorney so I took street law to learn about the justice system better and expand my knowledge with knowing all of my rights.Also I took sociology to learn about groups and why they act the way they do. I am currently taking forensic science. I have taken both my SAT and ACT and 2 AP test and I'm currently in a college algebra dual credit class.Academics is one of my many strengths.I always look forward to expanding my education.
Work
I have a part-time job.I got the job a teach me how to handle my own money.I have now opened my own bank account and never went over my balance.Also I have a savings account where I keep the money I will take out for college so I won't be struggling paying for books.I work at the Gap outlet at the outlet mall.It's my first job and I'm still currently working there. I'm a sales associate, but I'm also register trained.I'm very friendly, always have a smile on my face, and I absolutely love my managers and every single one of my employees.I take pride in my job and its never a hassle to go work. I appreciate that my managers recognize my hard work.And around holidays there's always something fun planned. I love my job so much.
Other Achievements
One of the best clubs I ever been in was Debate.I competed in Lincoln-Douglas debate, poetry, domestic and novice extemp,impromptu, and duo and duet. Although I did duo and duet once. I believe this is one of my greatest achievements because Lincoln-Douglas debate taught me how to think on my feet and prepare a rebuttal on the spot which is great for someone who wants to be an attorney. Debate built of my confidence to talk in front of people and I'm less nervous to talk to someone I don't really know.Another activity I do is dance club and we are called the house of swag.I feel like they are my second family.My instructor Eric is absolutely amazing and I wouldn't change it for the world.I love my clubs and they help me grow as a person.
