Sports has always been apart of my life. I was enrolled in gymnastics when I was 6 years old. My passion for gymnastics started when I witnessed my cousin, Lisa Janz, compete in a competition. I absolutely fell in love with the sport. Gymnastics requires strength, flexibility, and determination. Even though i wasn't the best gymnast on the team, everyone else's accomplishments pushed me to work harder until I match their level of difficulties. I continued to compete with other people and i finally got my skills. I then was able to become the National Balance Beam Champion, and the only one at my gym. I'm very honored to have come this far in my training and am very happy to have accomplished at everything I dreamed of becoming.
People always tell me that I am a creative person. I love to draw and do anything that requires arts and crafts. I enjoy creating something that comes from my imagination. Testing the limits of what I can create is one of the many things that satisfy me as an artist. I'm currently enrolled in a drawing and design class. So far I am very happy with my artwork and hope to learn more in the class. I have excelled in my artwork because when I first started out I was just drawing amateur drawings, but now that i'm getting taught how to draw properly I feel like I can do anything that I set my mind to. That feeling is a very accomplishing feeling to have when your a young artist.
My faith is very important to me as a young christian. I've educated myself on why God has placed me on this earth. He put me here to be his disciple. In my high school I lead a club called, Prayer at the Flag Pole. Where students that attend La Plata High school can come out and pray about anything that's burdening their hearts. This activity helps bring the school's community closer to each other and to Christ. I'm also a level 10 gymnast at Unique Sports Academy. I witness to young gymnasts at my gymnastics club, and I help give them comfort and strength when they carry out their training by sharing Philippians 3:14 with them, "I can do all things through, Christ who strengthens me." This always seems to help them reach their goals.
