ATTRIBUTES
Technology
My love for technology has been with me ever since our family bought our first computer in 1998. I learned how to type and do other various activities such as Aol email at that time. The technological revolution had continued when we recieved our first color cell phone with a java os. This is where my talent for programming had come from. I had researched and had built my first website for my local temple by learing html and flash animation. I then began programming for my first smartphone the palm centro. I created three apps for my smartphone with my knowledge of c++ and java, creating 3 apps two of which for my temple. That led to me create my own mulitouch tv by uising a wiimote and a projector.
Community Service
Every Sunday I volunteer at my local gurdwara "temple". I begin the day by helping to prepare meals for the congregation after the service. I then continue by passing out and serving the congregation the prepared meals and making sure everyone is satisfied with the meal. I then go on to cleaning up the temple by vacuuming and tidying up the place. I have personally took the liberty of planning and exectuing fundraisers for the temple and special events including going green by planting trees in front of the temple with local enviromental teams regularly visit.I soley maintain the church's main website .
Other Achievements
Leadership is a attribute that has been with for quite a while. I have demonstrated my abilities through many instances I personally have faced. My most proud moment of leadership was when I personally took charge of an incident while shopping at my local grocery store. While me and my father were shopping about two years ago at Target there was a young lady and her infant son shopping together. We were in the same isle looking for shampoo and while she was looking her unatended infant rose from the shopping cart and stood up. He attempted to jump out of the cart and as soon as his mother saw this from across the isle she yelled "he's going to fall". Within a split second I leaped to the infant and grabbed him by his shirt just in time.
