ATTRIBUTES
Arts
I have been in band all of my life and I would not take that back for the world. In my band I play flute and piccolo and working on other instrumants as we speak. I started in my elementary school playing the recorder then excelled to my middle school's concert band then moved up to symphonic band. Today I am in the last year of high school and I am first chair in my school's top band(symphonic band) and I'm loving every minute of it! I have taking my skills to talent shows and have taught others younger and the same age as me to further their skills as well. I had to opportunity to hold the office of Librarian 2 years in a row as well as 2nd Lieutenant.
Other Achievements
All my life I loved to help others and see what I can do for them. and so my mother always thought I should be in the medical field. Now that I think about those times of taking out my "handy-dandy" bandages out of my purse filled with nothing but toys, she was right. I love the medical field and wouldn't want to be in any other field because this reall satisfies me. Today I am in my school's Health Academy and it is basically preparing my for what I aspire for in the future. I am in my 4th and final year of this program and I feel as if I have excelled greatly. Without this I don't think I would of been able to understand my humerous to my tibia (my arm from my leg) I have held the office of Competitive Director.
Community Service
When community service comes to mind I automadically think of 4-H. You see, I was basically born into this program becuase both of my parents were in it as well as my grandmother! 4-H is a program were I was able to learn life long skills. They included public speaking, demonstrations, horticulture, fashion revue, cooking, planting, animals. I held many offices like: Vice President, Historian and Sargent at arms.
