Community Service
I put my best efforts forth when it comes to helping others. Volunteering is in my blood. I have always been involved in events that help to progress things. When I was eight, I was involved in my schools Wonder of Reading Committee and helped to design and create a brand new library. I was also involved in student council; we helped to earn money for new buildings and playgrounds. I am a cadet, a symbol of strength and community service. As a cadet I have taught wilderness skills to younger kids, prepared them for any situation. I belong to Key Club (Kiwanis International group), a group of students who serve to volunteer and help in any possible way. I'm dedicated to assuring wellness for all, whatever it takes, I'll do it!
Athletics
I was four years old when I hit my first grand-slam in little league softball. The excitement was overwhelming; I haven't stopped playing since then. Softball is a big part of my life, it isn't just a sport, it is a piece of who I am. My best memory of playing besides hitting my first grand-slam was the year my team placed first place in the league, we were undefeated! I have received numerous MVP awards through out the years. The scent of softball is beyond amazing. Some of my closest friends were unearthed in this sport and fun has never left my side. The cheers, the adrenaline, the friendships, and the game are home to me. I'm a softball player, I play with passion; power in the ponytail.
Other Achievements
I'm the responsible, diligent, driven type of girl. If something needs to be done, it will get it done. In my junior year I was chosen to be manager of the set of an upcoming play "GREASE." I was in charge of decorations, advertisement, money, making sure other people were doing their jobs correctly, snacks and other merchandise. This was quite the challenge, and I loved every minute of it. This was a job that allowed me to multi-task to the extreme. Many people relied on me and my skills to produce an awesome play environment. It was a lot of hard work and a lot of fun. After the madness was over, I felt a sheet of accomplishment cover my world. I worked, painted, counted a lot of money, typed; I was the successful manager.
