ATTRIBUTES
Academics
Academics have always been one of my most important attributes, because It defines me, and my ability to learn and challenge myself. I have earned the Honor Roll every year of my school career, and that really shows my ability to achieve goals, and my work ethic. I have participated in, and finished Junior Achievement, and I am currently in the top 20 percentile of my class. I have been an honor student throughout all my years of high school, by all of my classes being honors classes. I also took two years of Honors Spanish, in which I excelled in, getting wonderful grades that showed my hard work. I also take a Medical Assisting Program at the Technical Center. I have a heavy work load, but I still try my hardest to achieve the highest!
Community Service
I have been engaging myself in so much community service throughout my whole life, it comes and feels natural to me now. I've helped out many teachers with their work loads on my spare time in school. I would often help a former teacher with yard work, and mailing/billing work as well. I have also volunteered for a Car Show, Chasm Food Drive, Pennies for Patients, Lucy Corr Nursing Home, Youth Forum, and volunteer babysitting at church. Also, I am going through the process of becoming a permanent volunteer at Bon Secours St. Francis Medical Center. As you can see community service is one of the most important aspects of my life, and I love doing my part by giving back to the community.
Work
In all of the work I have done, I have never been paid, but I always do it anyway for the people, and for myself. I was, for four years, a choreographer for Dance, and the Step Team. Being a choreographer was always my life long passion. When I was choreographing the Step Team, we won many Trophies, one of all being a 1st place Trophy for the Woodbridge Virginia Step Competition. We also hosted show cases, in which we raised money for our school. When I was a choreographer for Dance, we participated in many events, on of which being the Midlothian Day Parade, in which we also won a 1st place Trophy. We also participated in a Cheer and Dance Competition, in which we received an Honorable Mention Trophy, and medals for all of the dancers. .
