ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my entire academic career. I am currently enrolled in one AP class and three honors classes. I have won numerous awards throughout my academic career for writing (1st place 'Young Writers and Illustrators Contest'), High Honors (6 - 10th Grade), business (3rd Place - 'Business Plan Competition'), marketing (1st Place - 'Brand that Can'), and student of the month (K - 8th Grade). I served as a student ambassador of the United States in the People to People program in 2006 on an excursion to Australia. I have been recognized in the book of 'Who's Who Among Outstanding Students in America Volume II'. I was in National Junior Honor Society from 6 - 8th Grade.
Technology
Practically everything I know from technology I have taught myself. I am fluent in HTML and have built numerous websites and coded and designed layouts for sites such as MySpace. I am experienced with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Windows Movie Maker, and Sony Vegas. I have been enrolled in Broadcast Journalism for the past two years and have become very familiar with a professional studio set. I have been familiarized with the jobs of VTR operator, CG title constructor, switcher, camera man, and key grip. This class has also broadened my expertise in camera working as well as Adobe Premier and Final Cut Pro.
Arts
I have a passion for writing, photography, and digital arts - graphic design. I've held many successful websites with my graphic designs and have won a competition for my writing. I have a professional grade camera in which I take artistic photos in my spare time. My parents were both heavily involved in photography which left me with my foot in the door for the field.
