Academics
Education is immensely significant to me. I have always striven to do my personal best and reach goals that I continually set for myself. I have been inducted into the National Honors Society and received an invitation to be inducted into the National Society of High School Scholars. I have also completed and become an alumna of The Center For Leadership Development program. Throughout high school I have received grades I am proud of and continue to push myself a step further each time. As I excel in some areas, I also continue to learn and improve in my weaker areas.
Arts
Arts has always been an important part in my education. As I aspire to be successful in the Film Production and Motion Graphics Industry the arts become more and more valuable to me. I have been involved in various summer programs and internships that teach me about the arts and my chosen career field.
Community Service
Service is a huge part of my life. I have been involved in various service activities and programs including Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, Riley Children's Hospital, The Ronald McDonald House, The Philharmonic Orchestra, The Indiana State Museum, The White River State Park, and The Marion County Health Dept Summer Health Fairs. I have developed a great commitment and love for serving others. I will be participating in a life-changing Service Learning trip to the Dominican Republic this month where I will volunteer at orphanages, local Haitian refugee camps and participate in environmental projects. I have also learned that not only am I helping to strengthen my community and change the world, I am also strengthening and changing myself.
