ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I take pride in my school academics and work very hard to achieve the highest honors that I can. I have been an A/B honor roll or higher since 7th grade. In 10th grade I was inducted into National Honor Society and I am also currently the Student Council President which requires at least a 3.5 GPA. The last academic award I have received is The Student of the Month award. I have received this award twice and been nominated for it 12 times. I have taken and passes 8 online college courses and received a 24 on my ACT.

For Athletics in high school I have participated in Volleyball, Basketball, Track & Field, Softball, and Cheer leading. I have been in Volleyball for 4 years, received 2 letters, and 2 awards (Most Improved & Leadership). I have been in Basketball for 4 years and received 2 letters. I have participated in Track & Field for 4 years, received 4 letters, and 2 awards (Rookie & MVP). I was in Softball for 2 years and received one letter. I have been in Cheer leading for 2 years, received two letters, one award (Most Improved), and as a squad received first place at the IA, Ames Triton Challenge and third place at the Iowa State Cheer competition in Des Moines IA.
Faith
My faith is one of the most important things to me in my life. Without it I am lost. I joyfully have participated in three different Bible Camps (Bolan, Glenville, and Northwood) and also help with youth group activities such as lock-ins. I also have sang duets at church as well as participated in my church choir. I enjoy going to a Christian Band festival every year known as Sonshine in Wilmar, MN. This is where I found out about the most faith changing event I've ever experienced: SROM (Solid Rock Outdoor Ministries.) This was a 20 day/20 night backpacking/rock climbing trip with a group of 10 girls. This long trip exposed me to my true faith and friends and has truly change my view on life.
