Athletics
For three years, i have participated in my school's wrestling team. During my ninth grade year, I joined Alpharetta High School's wrestling team ; however, I transferred to Redan High School during my tenth grade year and joined their team. Being that i had previous wrestling experience and I was a leader, the Coach assigned me the title as team Co-Captain. It was my responsibility to lead the team with the Captain. Together, we both taught other team members new moves and perfected their technique. We both led the team well and came out with a good season. Coach was so pleased with our season, he gave me the title as Team Captain during my third year wrestling. This was a great honor that I carried proudly.
Academics
Throughout my entire high school journey, I always maintained good grades. Looking back, I never made a C on any of my high school report cards, because my grades were always As and Bs. As far as i can think, I always was in my school's honors day programs. Throughout high school, I was awarded many trophies in academics for my achievements. I won so many awards that my dad installed to shelves on my wall so I can have a place to put my trophies and medals. My parents always compliment me in my achievements in academics. Recently, I excelled in academics by obtaining all As on my last few report cards. With my 3.81 GPA, I have made my schools top 10% .
Government
During my junior year of high school, I wanted to make a difference for the school and improve the enviroment; therefore, I ran for Junior Class President. Obtaining this postion was not easy, because I had to campaign for a week and persuade the entire student body to vote for me. With hard work and a good campaign, I won the Presidential election. With the title as President, I organized many community service activities where we tutored middle school students and volunteered at retirement homes. I remember we improved many students math grades with our tutoring. Also, I planned our school's Prom with the help of the Student Government. Even though having this postion was challenging, I had an overall good experience and enjoyed it.
