ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have successful academically through all of my years in school. I currently have a 3.5 GPA and have maintained that grade proximity for years now. Grades have always been important to me. One of the few ways a college will recognize my potential is through my grades so I have put fourth much effort to try and maintain a nice looking transcript. Not only are my grades important at school, they are also important to my family. My parents work hard to provide me a great life and I owe it to them that I make them proud with my education. My grades will continue to thrive when I do go to my dream school, The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising when I pursuit fashion design. One day, all the good grades and schooling will pay off and I can take a deep breath of relief and victory.
Community Service
I have been working through community service for longer than I have meant too. It is natural to me to be giving and helpful to those in need. I have been apart of charity walks for Autism research, as well as the March For Dimes organization. I am a member of Hugh O'Brien Youth, (HOBY), an organization dedicated to teaching leadership to kids while doing all sorts of community service. I am even involved in community service at my school. I have put together several dinners for veterans as well as senior citizens. I have helped put together parties for our mentally handicapped class at my school. I work hard to help others as a way to give back for the fortunate life I have been given.
Government
I have been in student leadership for many years now. Starting in seventh grade, I decided I wanted to be apart of a school club where I help introduce new students into my middle school, even though I was a new student to my middle school as well. With that experience I decided I really liked the leadership experience. I started high school with a goal and determination to get very involved with my student government. I spent all freshmen year volunteering so when Sophomore Year came, my application would be accepted. Not only did my application get accepted, I was elected as Sophomore Class President. Later on, I was elected as ASB Vice President in my Junior year. To this day, I am ASB Vice President, working hard to make my school the best it can be.
