ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have a 4.3 GPA. I have been in the top ten ranking of my class every year of high school. Currently I am ranked seventh out of over five hundred students. I have taken all honors classes since my freshman year. I have also taken AP English and Composition and AP US History. I am currently taking AP Calculus. For the SAT I scored 550 on the reading section, 600 on the math section, and 650 on the writing section.
Athletics
I have been on the varsity high school soccer team every year since I was a freshmen. I was the leading scorer for two of those years. I was awarded Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP, and All-Around MVP. I also received the Top Team Player award and the All-Academic Player award. I was on First Team All SAC and Second Team All Districts. I play soccer ten months out of the twelve. In the fall I played varsity for my high school team, in the winter I played indoor soccer against local college teams with my club team, in the spring I played travel soccer with my club team, and in the summer I played in a friendly league with my high school team again. I was also a captain on my club team. I have played and am comfortable playing any position on the field.
Community Service
For the past three years I have been a member of a club called "Bruin Buddies". In this club we help run freshman orientation. I would take a group of students anywhere from 40 to 80 to give them a tour of the school, help them with their lockers, and answer any questions they had about their upcoming school year. I am also a peer tutor. Last year I helped teach an entire Chemistry class every day for a period. I would also stay after school to help students in the library. I even go to students houses to help them when it is convenient. I am also a regular donor to the Red Cross. I believe that it is my little way to help save lives.
