ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have maintained above a 3.5 GPA throughout my entire high school career. I scored a 31 on the ACT, a 1930 on the SAT, and am a National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist for my PSAT scores. I am currently taking two AP courses and two IB courses. I am currently ranked number 9 out of 243 students in my graduating class. I scored a 3 on my AP American History Exam sophomore year, and a 4 on my AP World Exam Junior year.
Arts
Since the age of four, when I used to give mini concerts to my parents and any other family members who would entertain me, I have been passionate about the performing arts. I have been acting in either my church or my school since the age of seven. I have been involved in my high school Theatre troupe since freshman year, and I have been President since my junior year. I have performed in seven productions at my high school since freshman year, one of which I was also assistant director, and I directed another production as my Senior Project. Last year I won an award for Best Female Lead Performance in a Fall Play, and I auditioned for and got the supporting lead role in the Fall Play this year.
I performed in the Fall and Spring Dance Concerts last year and I am in advanced choir.
Government
I have been involved in school government since Elementary school, where I joined my first Student Council in 2nd grade. Since then, I have continued to be active in my school organizations throughout middle and high school. I am currently President of my high school's Student Council, which I have been a member of since my freshman year, where I was the sole representative of my grade sophomore year. Even prior to becoming President I represented my school and district at the State leadership conferences, and I brought back the ideas I learned there and implemented them in my school and community. I am also involved in another organization which plans out the events and activities of my graduating class, I was treasurer my freshman and sophomore year, and President my junior year.
