Community Service

Through my life I have helped my community with my effective leadership and uncompromising character. I earned over 175 community service hours. I was a part of the Key club freshman year and helped organize blood drives. I was a member of DECA and participated and fundraised for Relay for life. I am also a member in NHS because of my high GPA and my leadership skills. In NHS I helped organize a field day to raise money for Relay for Life as well. Relay for life donates all the money rose to cancer research. In addition, I serve as the President of FBLA and Event Coordinator for BETA.

I helped coach basketball and soccer to kids. I feel that sports help kids by teaching them discipline and many other good traits that make them a well-rounded person.

Athletics

I played basketball my freshman year as well as golf and soccer. I went from soccer practice right after school and then went straight to basketball practice. Since basketball and soccer was in the same season it was a lot of work so I had to pick one. It was a very hard choice, but I picked soccer. I played golf and soccer all for years of my high school career. I was captain my senior year of being a four year lettermen on the Varsity golf team in which we won districts through the years of 2010-2012 and Cape Coast 2009-2012. I also was a captain of the MIHS soccer team for two years. I only wish I could have more time to play all the sports my school has to offer.

Academics

Throughout high school, I honed my skills in the Academy of Hospitality Management. I pursued Honors classes in all disciplines, AP classes, as well as college-level coursework in Hospitality Management, Marketing and Technology. Not only did I receive a 4.0 GPA in these classes but I also received a 4.0 in my duel enrolled classes at the community college in which I took College Algebra and American History. I am ranked 23rd in my class out of 347. I am in the top 7% of my class. I work hard to receive a 4.0 not for anyone else, but myself. I push do my best and be my best. My teachers all respect me because of all the work I put in my work.
