ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have maintained the first Honor Roll all four years of high school. I fully intend to keep working hard into my last semester of high school. I continue to ex cell as my grade point average is a 3.88. My ACT score is a 25. I am currently enrolled in Theology of the Body, Government, Physics, and receiving college credit from Composition 1, Composition 2, Introduction to Literature, Algebra, and Principles of Biology. Because of my accumulative grade point average and impressive scores on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills, I became of member of National Honor Society as a sophomore. I am currently the National Honor Society Secretary. I have been a part of Math Relays and won first place at the Fort Hays Science Bowl as a sophomore. I have received four scholastic letters.
Faith
My faith has given me the drive to better myself. I do this at school, home, and with my friends. I am a part of an organization called Challenge. This program is associated with Regnum Christi, which means, Christ Reigns. In Challenge, we encounter Christ as our best friend, along with our personal Lord and Savior. Every summer I am a camp counselor at the Challenge Camp in St. Louis, Missouri. I have been a Challenge leader for four years. I plan on giving as a missionary. But for the past four summers, I have been a part of the Prayer and Action Summer Missions. In this program, youth go to a home and help out wherever you are needed. I have scraped and painted houses, done yard work, and influenced many people with my giving spirit. I value my faith as my number one priority in life.
Athletics
I have lifted weights three days a week for four years. This has brought me success. I have been a part of our school's Varsity Volleyball team all four years of high school. I was voted team captain my sophomore, junior, and senior years. I have lettered all four years and made the All-League team my sophomore, junior, and senior years. I have lead my team to be League Champions and sub-state runners up all four years. I have played Varsity basketball all four years and have received three letters. In the spring, I throw javelin. I medal ed at every meet in the spring of 2012. At the State Track meet I received fifth place. I plan on receiving first place at every meet this year, including the state track meet. I have high goals for myself and that is what has made me successful.
