Athletics
I have been a cheerleader all four years of high school. I was on the co-ed team my Freshman and Sophomore years. Those two years my team received the National Championship titles. My Junior year I was on the All-Girl Varsity team. This year as a senior I am also on the Varsity All-Girl team. We were regional champions this year and will be attending state. I have been a cheerleader since fifth grade and some years I have cheered on three teams at once.
Community Service
I have attended Community Service Day all three years of high school and plan to this year as well. These community service days each count towards six hours. I was also a Freshman Mentor this year, giving me 20 hours of Community Service. I helped organize two chicken salad luncheons to raise money for a teacher who adopted a little boy from Kenya. I was a participant in a local Walkathon. I also helped out at a local nursing home multiple times.
Academics
I have never had a weighted GPA below 3.00 on a scale of 4.00. Currently I have a 3.5 GPA and I am taking two AP classes. All together I have taken four AP classes throughout high school. When I was not taking AP classes I was taking Pre-Ap classes when they were available. I have also taken classes that will help me prepare for my majors in college such as Clinical Etymology and Anatomy and Physiology. I am enrolled in classes through local universities as well.
