Academics
I am an Honor Graduate student with a GPA of 93.55. from Churchill High School. I started off with 82 something in my freshman year and jumped over 11 points which is a huge accomplishment for me because I came to US almost 4 years ago. I have 90 % attendance and I'm a straight A student. I have taken all the Health/ Science electives that Churchill HS offered. Including Pharmacology, Psychology AP, Human Geography AP, Anatomy & Physiology of Human Body, Medical Terminology, Medical Microbiology, Patho Physiology, Health Science Clinical Rotation ( you go to the Hospital for Rotations in different areas), Spanish 1 & 2, Business Information Management 1 & 2. I am also Trilingual, I have been an active member in HOSA (Health Organization for students of America) and other clubs at school.
Arts
Not trying to brag or anything but I have always been good at art. I competed in TAEA ( Texas Art Education Association) Visual Art Scholastic Event and scored 4 out of 4, also received a Certificate of Achievement with a Gold medal of TAEA. I created a unique art piece called " Sacred Beauty" with Real ink of different colors. The patterns consists of Indian cultural (Henna Tattoo) designs, I will be taking Certified Pharmacy Technician exam after HS graduation. I also painted a mixed "Red petals Galaxy butter-wing". Also created a silhouette of a dancing girl standing with a mixed colors background. I also know how to make Henna Tattoos. I am good at sketching and drawing. I'm also trained for CPR by American Red Cross.
Community Service
I was a Junior volunteer at ST. Luke's Baptist Hospital in the summer. I completed 60 hours of volunteering in different areas of the Hospital. I also have labor and Delivery, Couplet Care Department, Nursing Units & information desks experience. I had to run errands for patients and nursing staff, assist patients at the time of transfer and discharge. I also reported patients needs and requests to the nurses, assisted ambulatory patients. Delivered patients flowers and greeting cards to their rooms, obtained selected drugs from the pharmacy.
I have also volunteered at MCECC (Muslim Children Education and Civic Center) organization in San Antonio, and completed 90 hours of volunteering. I gave lectures to students over Religious topics, served dinner, and helped people in the Library.
