ATTRIBUTES
Academics
In my academics, I feel like I have done an exceedingly good job. I have held a 4.0 GPA since my 8th grade year while taking as many honors classes my schedule would allow. I have taken math levels up to Pre-Calculus Honors. I'm taking Anatomy and Physiology Honors this upcoming semester. I have been in honors classes for English every year, and I gladly earned a college credit this past semester in the course Composition 1. While maintaining my 4.0 GPA, I have been working since September 2011. I am involved in extracurricular activities as well. I participate in community work when I am able. I regularly attend church each week.
Arts
I have been involved in music for as long as I can remember. I played the flute for 5 years and marched in my school band my freshman and sophomore year. I have been in choir since 5th grade. I am currently in the honors choir, Chamber Choir, at my school. I was selected to be in the Tennessee All East Women's Choir my sophomore and junior years and the Tennessee All East Mixed Choir my senior year. I was also selected to be in the Tennessee All State Women's Choir my junior and senior years of high school. I have been in the musicals at my school every year. This year, my senior year, I have been chosen as a lead role in the musical "Cinderella". I also lead worship in my church every week by singing. I play guitar on the side.
Faith
I have always attended church since I was a little girl. Since then though, I believe I have come quite a way. My first activity I remember getting involved in was See You At The Pole my 6th grade year. My 7th grade year I moved to a new town. I moved in with my father, and he is a regular church attender. I found myself in the youth praise band almost immediately after moving. I sing every Wednesday as long as there is service and I'm in town. I used to sing background mostly. However, I have recently been leading more than singing background. In June, our band was asked to come to Florida to lead worship for a week long youth camp. For the past 4 years, my youth group has gone to a weekend retreat called Sonfest and I have attended each year. I am also involved in FCA at my school.
