ATTRIBUTES
Academics
In academics, I've achieved grades that keep me consistently in (at least) the top 25% of my class for all my life. I'm currently enrolled in 5 honors courses, and I'm in Latin club, Science Olympiad, and BPA. I've competed in Latin at JCL and got an award for being in the top 10 of Latin 2 students. As for standardized tests, I've done fairly well. The first time I took the ACT I was a sophomore and was so nervous about it the night before that I didn't sleep well and wound up falling asleep on my test. I scored a 29. The following two times I've taken it I scored a 32. I recently took the SAT for the first time, and scored a 1910.
Community Service
For community service, I've been in National Honor Society for three years, and I've been in Key Club for one. In previous years, however, I used to help out at a local Boys and Girls Club that was within walking distance of my house. I helped out over the course of three years (including the summers) and, to be honest, I have no idea what the exact number would be for the total number of hours. I went after school and stayed until dark each day, so, erring on the safe side, at least 500 hours of community service that doesn't count to my totals in any of the clubs that I'm in.
Other Achievements
Other achievements of mine would primarily be in my Stagecraft class. It's not really academics, so I think that this is the best topic for it to be under. I'm a senior now, and have been in this class since my freshman year. How this works is in Stagecraft 1, you join all the other new students, learning the basics of how to build sets, focus lights, control sound, etc. If you take it again, you join the advanced class, which is basically a team of students who are dedicated and love the work. As the only 4-year member right now, I'm sort of the leader of the pack. I keep the team together and organize a lot of it, teach people skills, and iron out difficulties every day. We all spend hundreds of hours after school building and running shows, and to me, being so dedicated is noteworthy.
