Academics
Freshman year my GPA was a 3.67, Sophomore year was a 3.60, Junior year 4.0 and Senior year first semester is a 4.0. I try really hard on my work to make sure it is the best I can do. Two years in a row know I was awarded the Mighty Mustang Award by teachers. They nominate students who are work hard, care for others and have improved through out the year. Junior year, I was also awarded the Academic All State First Team for keeping a 3.6 GPA or higher and doing that well playing a sport. For having a 4.0 GPA for the spring semester of 2011-2012 I got the Academic Letter Award. I make sure that my academics come first and ever thing else next.
Community Service
Starting my freshman year, I wanted to help out my school and community to make a difference. I decided to join Care Team, Chain Links, Driven, and National Honors Society. I have been the the leader of Care Team for 3 years now and love it. We mostly do community service which include helping out the food bank and Stash for Cash. Stash for Cash is where all the male teachers set a goal and raise money for the Santa House. When they raise their goal then they shave the stash. We take the money and go shopping for toys and then bring it to the Santa House. Then this year I started helping out at a nursing home doing manicures for all the ladies. I go every other Friday to make them feel beautiful. Just seeing them makes me smile and feel like i have made a difference.
Athletics
Freshman year, I decided to join Lacrosse and made Junior Varsity and loved that I could improve and hang out with friends. Then Sophomore year, I made Varsity I was extremely excited. My season starts in February and goes till May.We practice 5 days a week and have games twice a week depending on our schedule. I got a Varsity Letter Award for 2011 season. Junior year, I made Varsity and got to learn more and more about why I love playing Lacrosse. I was again awarded the Varsity Award for 2012. I practice to help me become a better play so I can help the team out. Our Lacrosse team is like my second family we all get along great and love to play together.
