ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I'm currently receiving a 4.5 GPA for this semester of my junior year and plan on keeping it at that if not go slightly higher next semester. Also, I have a 4.2 for my GPI. I am ranked in the top 8% of my class and manage to maintain good grades along with social time with friends, family, and sports. I have been on honor roll every year since elementary school, I'm involved in NHSS, officer of student council, vice president of German club, link crew, class council, and historian of I am the Difference (a club that serves the community and organizes fundraisers to provide water filters to those less fortunate in Africa). I was also rewarded an Academic Award in the Upstate Eight Conference for my superior grades during my varsity volleyball season.
Community Service
I have well over 80 hours of community service whether it be animal rescues, toy drives, nursing homes, working with under privileged children, cleaning up forests, planting for a forest preserve, handing out clothes to the homeless and many more. I've done my fair share of volunteer services for organizations I feel really contribute to the community. Unlike some, community service is not a requirement for any of my classes and or clubs I'm currently enlisted in. I serve for the benefit of others and the rewarding feeling of knowing I've made a difference in someone's life with only a matter of a few hours of your time.
Athletics
I am enlisted in 3 sports programs throughout the year at my school. I play Varsity volleyball in the fall, wrestling managing in the winter, and boys' volleyball managing in the spring. Boys' volleyball is great, because I get to spend time with friends, but the best part being I get to hit that gym and play it up as much as possible. Along with these activities, I also participate in off season volleyball. I've been playing club for about 4 years now and volleyball in general, my whole life. In the 8th grade, I was presented with an MVP award, I usually spend 8 months out of the year involved in some type of program for my number one sport, volleyball. I sometimes play with my family in their league, do the summer program at my school, play club, and varsity girls' season in the fall.
