ATTRIBUTES
Academics
Throughout my entire education I have been consistent with attendance, honor roll, high honor roll, and certificates of achievement in all areas including foreign language and have made myself an outstanding individual. My academic record has been so successful that I was nominated to be a black scholar and be a part of the Urban League of the city Rochester. A determined and hard working student I understand the importance of unity amongst faculty, staff, and student. I to know that communication is a must to a healthy school enviroment. I am also one of two seniors invited to be a part of the Dignity for all Committee by assistant principal Mrs. Daly to discuss topics about my high school, Churchville-Chili. Persistence is an excellent trait to have when trying to succeed academically.
Arts
Theatre has been one of my greatest and most influential passions of my life. It also happens to be something I’m gifted at as well. Since the age of five I’ve been either acting, singing, or playing the harp or violin. Within past two years I have auditioned for the fall play, the spring coffee house, and a commercial and have been cast as major lead roles in all of these productions. The commercial was for the Summit Federal Credit Union, a bank here in New York and is still running on local channels. My most recent performances pertaining to theatre were Almost, Maine (play), The Nazareth College Barbara Staropoli singing competition, and if these walls could talk (play. Whether I am performing community theatre, or practicing in voice class, theatre is something I enjoy doing.
Work
Working in retail is no easy job, it takes a positive and reliable person maintain a position in this business. I am and have currently been a Fashion Representative and Sales Associate for the clothing company, brand name, DELiA*s. The basic fundamentals of social and financial skills one should obtain in order to become successful in life I have gained during my time spent in this business. However, besides retail, I have been employed as a babysitter, full time. During this past summer I cared for twins under the age of four for two months. I also am a professional actress and keep up with my acting jobs during the year. All together in the last eight to ten months I have earned one thousand two hundred and six dollars working multiple jobs. Work itself is no problem of mine.
