ATTRIBUTES
Faith
I accepted Christ as my savior when I was around 5 years old. I am a very active member in my church. I work with the children’s classes, varying from 3 to 12 years, old about once a month, and help out wherever I am needed. In the children’s classes I lead singing, dancing, help the teachers with lessons, and provide childcare for the younger ones. Two summers ago I was a camp counselor for a group of 10 year old girls, which my church put on. I also was a junior assistant for my church's Vacation Bible School each summer. This experience taught me how important patience is when dealing with young girls. This past summer I went on a mission’s trip to Bolivia. While in Bolivia we worked with children, evangelized, and helped build a church.
Athletics
I have taken part in sports ever since I was in elementary school. In high school I played volleyball all four years. My freshman year I received the award for the Most Improved. I’ve gotten a varsity letter since my sophomore year. My senior year I was awarded the Scholar Athlete award, Most Inspirational, and 2nd Team All League. This and last year my volleyball team went to districts. We also got 2nd place for having the top grades in the state. I have received a varsity letter in Softball from my freshman to my junior year. My freshman year, I received the award for Most Improved for Softball as well. I began doing cheer my sophomore year, and have lettered in cheer since then. My cheer coach gave me the award for having the best attitude my junior year.
Academics
Grades are a very important aspect of my life, and I have been in honor roll ever since I was in middle school. Throughout high school I have maintained a 3.97 GPA. During high school I have taken 4 honors classes, and three AP classes. I have passed all of my classes with all A’s and one A-. During my sophomore year I received the Outstanding Student award from my Algebra II teacher. My teacher gave me this award, because I really like math, and I have pushed myself to become a better student. This is why I am planning on taking the AP Calculus test this year. My SAT cumulative score is 1680. I am Historian of my school’s National Honor Society, which is a club honoring students who excel in school.
