ATTRIBUTES
Athletics
I have participated in the sport of soccer for around 7 years. I've made time in my schedule to be sure I practice hard and reach my full potential. I've won multiple awards throughout my career. I recieved the Impact Player Award my freshman and sophmore year for my high school team and the MVP award my junior year as well. I also played for Spartanburg Arsenal Football Club where I led my team as captain to 3rd place in the State Cup. I'm hoping that soccer could help me along with college payments through potential scholarships. I'm attempting to follow in my father's footsteps and attend the same college as he did and play for the same team. He's taught me most of everything I know and I'm applying his lessons to the best of my ability.
Academics
My mother is a teacher and throughout my entire academic career she has stressed that good grades are essential to life. I listened to her advice and have strived to remain on the Honor Roll for my whole academic career. I've taken the SAT twice and my highest score was an 1100 with a 530 in Reading, 580 in Math, and 490 in Writing. I had an overall compositte score of a 26 on the ACT. In college I plan to study Pre-Med and enter the medical field to help my community and those in need.
Work
I was never able to participate in a full time job because of school and soccer during the year. As a result, I worked at Sherwood Pool over the summer as a certified lifeguard. Since I had a restricted time limit, I always asked for extra hours and worked as often as possible. I was never late to my shift, performed all of my duties efficiently, and provided a sense of safety and friendliness to all patrons. I look forward to the upcoming summer as I have been told to expect a promotion to head lifeguard and a pay raise.
