ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I am the President of our local chapter of the National Honor Society and I will be my class Valedictorian when I graduate in May 2013. I have a 3.98 GPA and scored a 23 on my ACT. I have been an highest honor roll student since my freshman year and I am also academic all-state in volleyball, basketball and track. I tutor students who are struggling every day during my lunch hour for free through our National Honor Society tutoring program.
Athletics
I am a 4 year, 3 sport varsity athlete at my high school. I compete in Volleyball, Basketball and Track. I am captain of all three teams and I was all-conference for 3 years in volleyball, 3 years in basketball and 3 years in track. I was on the all-tourney team this year for volleyball which was a great honor. I was all-state in basketball my sophomore year and the Divisional Javelin Champion as a freshman. I am the only member of my class who will have competed in 3 sports for all 4 years of high school. I am a team player and I love being involved in sports.
Government
I am the current Student Body President of my high school and served as the Vice-President last year. I am the Class of 2013 President this year and also served in that capacity last year as well. I was the student council representative my sophomore year and served as our class secretary/treasurer my freshman year. I am involved in fundraising for the student council and assist with "pop" shots during basketball season when I am not playing in the band or playing on the court!
