ATTRIBUTES
Academics
I have been a honor roll student every year since eighth grade. I have taken several honor classes since the eighth grade. Currently, I am taken one AP course (calculus AB) which I am doing quite well in. I scored 1750 on the SAT and 26 on the ACT. Recently, I sat for the SAT again awaiting my scores. I also took the PSAT and did quite well. By taking the PSAT, it prepared me for future SAT testing to follow.
Community Service
Since the ninth grade, I've been volunteering within my community. I voluteered at Feeding South Florida, which is a food pantry that provide nutritious food to needy families. We would inspect, re-package, and distribute the donated items. I also volunteered at Chidren's Service Counci which sponsored a "Back to School" drive to low-income families so that kids would have school supplies for the upcoming school year. At this event, we would unload, organized, and distribute full backpacks to awaiting schoolers. Every year, I volunteer at a Martin Luther King, Jr community service event where we go into the community and beautify a needy school, church, or Boys and Girls Club.
Athletics
For one summer, I helped at the South Florida Track and Field Association, Inc. Every week the organiazation held local track meets for partcipants ranging from 6 to 18 yrs. These track meets requires coordinations and organizations. I would help by assembling the younger kids preparing them for the events. Every summer, I would partcipate in several football camps along side my team mates that I've played with in the communty league and high schoold to improve our techniques, speed and versatility. Also, have the opportunity to hear and speak with fomer NFL players and coaches. This past summer, I enrolled in a couple college football camps preparing me for the the next level after high school.
